Kathmandu: 7th Nepal APF School Cup Kicks Off

7th Nepal APF school cup got underway in Kirtipur on Wednesday.
Hosts Nepal APF school defeated Harati Sikchya Mandir 7-0 in the opening match. Tenjing Sherpa scored a brace while Abin Basyal, Rohit Gole, Damber BK and Bibek Tharu scored apiece for the winners. Another goal was scored in an own post.
In another match, Sainik awasiya Mahabidhyalaya defeated Nightingle school 12-0. Ujjwal Rai scored five goals alone while Alfez Ali scored a hat trick. Dipesh Durjan, Krishna Thapa, Anubagh and Dakchya Lama scored apiece for the winners.
School principal Yuwaraj Parajuli and chief guest Laxmi Thapaliya joinly inaugurated the event.
Two matches will be played tomorrow.
18 schools are taking part in the event.
