Pokhara (GoalNepal) - The Kaski qualifiers of the first Futsal tournament organized by HISSAN Gandaki will be held in the first week of Magh. HISSAN Gandaki has called upon the schools affiliated with HISSAN to participate in the Kaski selection to be held on Magh 6, 7 and 8.

Yambahadur Roka, president of HISSAN Kaski, said that students studying in classes 11 and 12 can participate in the competition between member schools of HISSAN Gandaki. He informed that eight teams will be selected from the Kaski district.

16 teams, eight from Kaski and eight from other districts, will compete for the title. Ramakanta Baral, president of HISSAN Gandaki, informed that the province-level competition will be held in the first week of Falgun. Chairman Baral said that the winners of the competition will get one lakh rupees and the runners-up will get cash Rs. 50,000.

The qualifiers of other districts of Gandaki is also being managed by the Sabin Memorial Football Club president Sanjay Lig. He said that the Kaski qualifiers will be held at Be Fit Futsal in Pokhara. Similarly, he said that the provincial-level competition will be held in the multi-purpose hall in Pokhara Stadium.

Sabin Memorial Cup is a team of the National Futsal League. Last year in the national futsal league tournament held in Pokhara, they finished fourth. Tournament coordinator Santosh Parajuli said that the tournament will allow new players to show their talent.
