Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Golbazar Sports Club, Siraha have been promoted to the Martyr's Memorial C Division League. In the group 'A' knockouts final held at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, on Monday, Golbazar defeated Masuriya Football Academy 11-10 on penalties to win the title.

In a very competitive match, the regulation time had ended 2-2 and the match was sent to penalties. And Golbazar broke Masuriya FA's hearts to win on sudden death.

Kavre Border Youth Club and Bagmati Youth Club will face each other in group B's final for a place in the third tier of Nepali football as well. The winners of that match will face Golbazar in the final of the qualifiers.

62 teams competed in the qualifiers. The group stages had 20 groups with the group winners advancing to the knockouts.
