ANFA have bid farewell to the Nepal U-15 National Women's Team ahead of the SAFF U-15 Women's Championship. The team was bid farewell amid a program held at the ANFA Complex at Satdobato and will fly to Bangladesh tomorrow for the tournament.

 

Tanka Lal Ghising, member secretary of the National Sports Council, ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Ex-Co Member Sarala Shrestha and Women's Association Ex-President Brinda Dewan were present at the farewell ceremony.

 

The team will compete in SAFF U-15 Women's Championship in Bangladesh from November 1-11. Only Nepal and Bhutan will participate in the tournament along with hosts Bangladesh.

The competition will be a round-robin league. Nepal will start the proceedings facing Bhutan on November 3, followed by Bangladesh on November 5. Nepal will again face Bhutan on November 7 and Bangladesh on November 9. The top-ranked team after the league stage matches will be the title winner.
