News APF Into The Semifinals Of Chitwan Gold Cup

APF Football Club have entered the semi-finals of the ongoing Isuzu Chitwan Gold Cup International Invitational Football Tournament. In the third quarter-final held on Wednesday, APF defeated hosts KBA Global defeated Bharatpur FC 3-2 and entered the semi-finals.

APF took the lead in the 10th minute of the match played at Campachaur in Narayangarh through Hari Karki's goal. However, in the first half's added time, Kamal Thapa and Raj Bhushal scored a goal each to give Bharatpur a 2-1 lead.

But in the second half, APF returned to the game. In the 49th minute, Hari Karki scored his second personal goal to bring APF back into the game. Kuldeep Karki of Bharatpur scored an own goal in the 69th minute, the home team lost 3-2 and APF entered the last four.

APF's Hari Karki was declared the man of the match. He received Rs. 10,000 and a trophy as an award. According to Dhruba Bhushal, the fourth and last quarterfinal match between Nawa Jana Jagriti Youth Club, Simara and Tribhuwan Army Football Club, Kathmandu, will be played on Thursday.

The competition's winners, which will run until Ashoj 3rd, will receive Rs. 7,00,000 cash along with the title, while the runners-up will receive Rs. 3,50,000.
