Kumari Futsal has won the title of Women's Futsal tournament in Kathmandu.

Kumari defeated Lady Lions 3-2 in a tightly contested match played on Saturday.

Manisha scored a brace while Preeti Rai scored another for the winners. Bimala Chaudhary and Indira Rai scored apiece for Lady Lions.

The champions received Rs 50,000. Runners up team got Rs 20,000.

Nepal Futsal entrepruners association president Raj Maharjan and owner of Kumari Futsal Rajan Lala Maharjan distributed prizes to the winners.

Sixteen teams took part in the event.
