Aayush Ghalan has been named the captain of the Nepal U-20 National Team. Ghalan has been named the captain of the side, Meghraj KC, Nepal U-20 National Team head coach informed GoalNepal.

"We have a very young team and Aayush has already played with the senior national team and gained great experience", KC told GoalNepal. "This is why he has been chosen to lead the side."

The age level side is leaving for India tomorrow for the SAFF U-20 Championship to be held in Bhubaneswar, India from July 25.

Nepal will face the Maldives in its opening encounter of the SAFF U-20 Championship on the opening day. On July 27, Nepal will play their second game against Sri Lanka, and on July 31, Nepal will face India. Bangladesh will be Nepal's opponent in the last group game on August 2.
