GoalNepal

The Nepalese clubs run by Non-resident Nepalese residing in Australia are excited about the interest shown by Nepal internationals to play for their clubs. The arrival of players with huge potential is giving them huge excitement for their leagues ahead.

One Nepalese club official, who didn’t want to be named, told GoalNepal he was excited about them coming to Australia. Yeti FC, Beni FC and Machhapuchre FC are some of the active clubs in Australia.

There is the Gurkha Nepalese Community league and other tournaments that are organized by Nepalese clubs. Some players are also playing in the lower division league organized by the Australian FA.

On the other hand, Nepal internationals opting to play lower leagues in Australia by ditching Nepali league football is not going to be fruitful for the Nepali football fraternity. The loss of players with huge potential will also hinder national team success.

Santosh Tamang, Darshan Gurung and Nabin Gurung left Nepal to go down under just yesterday. Other Nepal internationals are already in Australia and are involved with clubs there.
