Nepal National and International Players' Association (NNIPA) has demanded the formation of a new investigation to resolve the dispute between head coach Abdullah Almutairi and the players who left the closed camp.

NNIPA demanded the formation of a new committee, saying that the committee formed with the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) was not practical by handing over a memorandum to ANFA chairperson Karma Tsering Sherpa demanding the formation of a new committee. NNIPA Chairman Deepak Shrestha handed over the memorandum to Sherpa.

ANFA had formed a committee to investigate the dispute between head coach Almutairi and the players on Wednesday, consisting of former Nepal Army Commander and former player Victor Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana.

Ten players left the closed camp last Tuesday, citing disagreements with the head coach Abdullah Almutairi who has called up 17 more players in their places to continue the closed camp.
