Nepal Police Club defeated Nawa Jana Jagriti Yuwa Club, Simara with a big margin of 5-0 to enter the quarterfinals of the 6th Rajarshi Janak Cup at Karmaiya, Sarlahi.

Ravi Paswan scored a brace in Police’s win. Nirkumar Rai, Saujan Rai and Buddha Bal Tamang scored a goal each.

Ravi Paswan, who scored a brace became the player of the match. He received Rs. 10000 cash prize.

NRT will play against Bharatpur FC on Friday's matchup.

Bagmati Club and Bagmati Municipality are jointly organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 10 Lakh.
