Shree Bhagawati, Saraswati and Boys Union have started their Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2078 campaigns with wins on the opening day of the tournament.

In the opening fixture of the B Division league, Shree Bhagawati Club defeated Jhamsikhel Youth Club 3-1 to get three points on board. Anil Gurung, Ramesh Ura and Milan Khadka scored for Shree Bhagawati on the 24th, 51st and 53rd minute of the match. Man Kumar scored one for Jhamsikhel in the 37th minute.

In the second match of the day, Saraswati Youth Club defeated Bansbari Club 3-1 to start on a high. Bikki Rai scored the opening goal of the match for Bansbari in the 6th minute. But Saraswati Youth Club came back from a goal down to score three goals. Bikram Bishamkhe, Shrijan Lama and Bhupendra Shahi scored for Saraswati in the 21st, 87th and stoppage time respectively to get all three points.

In the final match of the day, Boys Union Club defeated Birgunj United 1-0 thanks to a goal from Milan Limbu in the 64th minute.
