
The fourth Mayor's Cup Football Tournament, organized by the Sunsari Municipality and administered by the Eleven Arrows Club in Duhabi, will begin on February 23. The tournament will feature players from all 12 wards.
Mayor Bed Gachchhadar noted at the press conference that Duhabi Municipality is a fertile environment for football, and that the competition is being held to generate players of national and international caliber.
According to Gachchhadar, a stadium for 7,000 people is being built at a cost of Rs. 20 crores, 96 lakhs rupees. He also stated that the football academy would be launched soon.
Gachchhadar asked everyone to help make the fourth Mayor's Cup football event a success, stating that his goal is to generate professional players from each ward because football develops the kids physically and psychologically.
Ward No. 1 and Ward No. 8 will face off in the first game. The winning team will receive Rs. 1,01,000 in prize money, trophy, and certificates. The team in second place will receive Rs. 51,000 in cash, as well as a trophy and certificates.
