Rajan Gurung of Nepal APF Club bagged the title of Best Player at the 20th edition of Aaha! Rara Gold Cup 2078. His team APF lifted the title of the tournament for the first time today by defeating the record titleholders Manang Marshyangdi Club 5-4 in a tiebreaker. In the 120 minutes, both teams managed to score two goals each and pushed the match to a gruesome penalty shootout.

Afeez Olawale was awarded the best forward but every other individual award went to APF. Kuriyama Yuya was named the best goalkeeper, Rajan Gurung was named the best defender, Rabi Thing was the best midfielder and Kumar Thapa was given the award of the best coach at the tournament.

Rabi Thing of APF finished the tournament as the highest goalscorer and received his trophy. Tribhuwan Army FC was given the fair play award.

The tournament organized by Sahara Club, Pokhara had the participation of 10 teams with the winners APF receiving a whopping ten lakhs rupees.
