The second match of the First Ward Chairman Cup in Damak was won by Damak Municipality Ward No. 3. Damak advanced to the tournament's second round after defeating Chulachuli Football Club 2-1 on Monday.

Saurabh Limbu of the hosts Damak scored from the penalty spot in the 4th minute of the second half to give his team the lead, and team captain Saurabh KC scored in the 12th minute of the second half to give his team a two-goal lead. In the 16th minute of the second half, Kismat Limbu scored a consolation goal for Chulachuli.

Damak's Shyam Murmu was named man of the match and received Rs 3,000 in cash.

The game between Kamal Village Sports Committee and Pathari Sporting will take place tomorrow.

The ongoing competition is being held at the proposed International Madan Bhandari Stadium, with the support of Damak Municipality. With eight teams competing, the Ward Chairman's Cup winner will receive a trophy, medals, and certificates, as well as Rs. 111,000 in cash, while the runner-up team will receive Rs. 55,000 in cash. A cash prize will be awarded to the best player in the competition.

The tournament final will take place on December 26.
