Nepal defeated highly spirited Sri Lanka 3-2 in SAFF Championship match played in Male City, Maldives on Monday night.

Suman Lama and Ayush Ghalan scored their debut goal while Anjan Bista scored another for team Nepal.

Nepal have six points from two matches and is staying on top. They will play against India on October 10.
