10-man Bangladesh has stopped India to a 1-1 draw in SAFF Championship 2021 match in Male, Maldives.

India started the game in a good note and also scored but they struggled in the second half though they had numerical advantage.



Sunil Chhetri scored for India in 26^th minute utilizing a pass from Udanta before going for a break.

After resumption, Bangladesh was reduced to 10 man in 54^th minute when Bishwanath Ghosh fouled on Liston. But Bangladesh fought back and equalized the score line in 74^th minute.

Yeasin Arafat equalized the score in a goal mouth melee.

India couldn’t press hard in the wee hours and settled down for a frustrating draw.

Bangladesh have four points from two matches while India have a point from their first match.

Nepal plays Sri Lanka later this evening at 9:45 PM NST.
