Maldives has announced preliminary squad for SAFF 2021.

Maldives are hosting the event from October 1-16 in Male.

Five South Asian countries are taking part in the event sans Pakistan and Bhutan. Pakistan are banned by FIFA whereas Bhutan are reluctant to send the team abroad due to COVID pandemic.
