Nepal head coach Abdullah Almutairi said friendly series against India would be of different philosophy and they would apply different strategy.
Nepal is hosting India in a two match friendly series on September 2 & 5, 2021. Both matches will be played at Dasharath stadium.
Almutairi - who is busy training the boys in Pokhara - said his main concern is good performance not the result.
“We will try new philosophy, new strategy (against India). I don’t care about the result but performance”, said AA in Pokhara.
AA also spoke about the SAFF championship 2021.
"Our training is going good. Our first game against Maldives will be very strong. They are the hosts. They are defending the trophy. SAFF is very important for us because we have never win it. If we lose SAFF, it will be my mistake not the players. But we will win, inshallah".
Coach AA also plans to to make players ready for ANFA D license coaching course.
"I am also preparing the players for D license coaching course. After retirement they can understand the game more. Target is to produce
good number of pro licensing coach", coach AA added.
He also felt satisfied to see Nepal improving three steps in FIFA World Ranking.
