Nepal defeated Chinese Taipei 2-0 to keep their hopes alive for AFC Asian Cup 2023.

Anjan Bista and super sub Nawayug Shrestha scored apiece for Nepal in a match played at sweltering heat of Kuwait. 

Bista scored from spot in the first half and Shrestha doubled the tally in 81st minute.

Nepal collects an important three match, making its tally to six points from six matches.

Nepal will now take on mighty Jordan on June 7 and biggie Australia on June 11, 2021.
