Nepal coach Abdullah Almutairi is confident that his young charges will play better in coming days.

After losing 2-6 to Iraq in the friendly match, coach AA said he was sorry for everyone in Nepal.

"I am so sorry for everyone in Nepal. We can’t make better result. It was only one chance. If we had scored, it would have been 3-1 (missed Anjan Bista 1vs1) and we would have won the match.



"See, this is only 11-12 days work. Just what I need is time and patience. I am the only person who is responsible for the loss. Don’t speak with the players. Don’t put pressure on them. Just wait and take time and we will be ready for the qualifiers.

He said he would make Nepalese fans happy in coming days.

"We can fight for Nepal and for Nepali people. We will make them happy. May be we couldn’t make them too much happy today. We could make them little happy because we scored two goals. We would have taken 3-1 lead. But this is football. Sometimes you miss one ball and everything is changed".

Coach AA believes his young charge need more time to adapt to his philosopy.

"My new players need more time, patience, trust from the fans. Everything will be good".

He also talked about the mistakes his players made in the match.

"If you make silly mistakes, you will loose. We made mistakes because ground was too much slippery. We didn’t train with new “umbro ball” which was light in weight.", said AA.

Kuwaiti coach also didn't want to comment on the mistakes made by the players, specially back pass from Rohit Chand and Suman Aryal.

"Suman made mistake, why would we kill him for his mistake? We need time and patience. Wait for the coming matches. We will be much better with long training camp", answered AA.

Nepal is now heading towards Kuwait City for FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
