Banganga welfare society, Kapilvastu has entered quarterfinals of 9th Himalayan gold cup football tournament in Rupandehi.

Banganga defeated Kanchan yuwa club, Rudrapur 5-4 on penalties. Both teams had played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

ANFA Academy Butwal will meet Scholar's Home on Saturday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,11,111.

Sixteen teams are participating in the event.
