Chadani Yuwa Club entered quarterfinals defeating Butwal Youth Society 3-1 on penalties in 9th Himalayan Cup at Himalayan Primary School ground, Diyo, Butwal, Rupandehi on Thursday.

The teams played 1-1 draw in the regulation time to push the match to spot-kick battle.

Sagar Chhetri scored for Chadani while Mohan Thapa had scored for Butwal.

Banganga Welfare Society will take on Kanchan Yuwa Club on Friday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,11,111 while runners up team will walk away with Rs 55,555.

Sixteen teams are participating in the championship. Final match is scheduled on Falgun 1.
