4th Chitwan Championship Kicks Off; Basantapur United, Madi Wins The Opener

4th Chitwan championship got underway in Bharatpur on Tuesday.

Basantapur United Madi defeated Hardi Yuwa Samaj 1-0 in the opening match played at Nepal Police junior officers academy.

Abu Baker scored the match winner in 55th minute. He became the man of the match.

Narayangadh FC will meet Ramnagar FC in today's match.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 2,22,222.
