Bhairab SC, Nawalparasi progressed to the quarterfinals following 2-1 win against Srijana Youth Club, Kapilvastu in the third pre-quarterfinal match of 9th Himalayan Gold Cup played at Himalayan Primary school, Kanchanpur-4, Dio, Butwal, Rupandehi on Tuesday.

Kancha Gurung scored both goals for the winning team. Shyam Thapa scored a consolation goal for Srijana Youth Club.

Devdaha Youth Club will take on Pharsatikar Youth Club, Kapilvastu in the last pre-quarterfinal on Wednesday.

Himalayan Community Development Centre is organizing the knock-out tournament that has a winning purse of Rs.1,11,111. Runners-up will receive Rs.55,555.
