Pharsatikar FC has entered semifinals of 3rd Sainamaina Mayor cup football tournament. 



Pharsatikar defeated Kapilvastu XI 3-1 in the quarterfinal match played at Sainamaina on Thursday.



Fofona scored a brace (23’, 49’) while Rupak Lama scored another (74’) for the winners.

Nishan Neupane scored one for the losing side in 47th minute.



Rupak Lama became the player of the match.

Bhairab FC, Nawalparasi will play against Bishwo Shanti Yuwa Club in another quarterfinal match on Friday.

Janapriya Sporting Club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,22,222. Runners up team will get NRs 1,11,111.

Two semifinalist teams will get NRs 20,000 each. The MVP will get one mountain bicycle.

12 teams from Rupandehi, Kapilvastu and Nawalparasi are taking part in the event.
