Veedol Bijaya Youth Hetauda gold cup is kicking off today at Forestry grounds, Hetauda.

Hosts Bijaya Youth is playing against Central College Bharatpur FC in the opening match.

Club president Sudip Rajbahak appealed all to take part in the event.

"We are trying to uplift the game post COVID outbreak. We have completed the preparation and we would like to appeal all to take part in the event and make it successful", said Rajabahak.

10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 3 lakh. Runners up team will get Nrs 1,50,000.

According to tournament coordinator, Rajesh Bhetwal, the estimated budget of the event is Nrs 21 lakh.
