ANFA Bagmati province league got underway in Bidur, Nuwakot on Thursday.

Nuwakot district champions, Nuwakot United FC defeated Namuna Janauthan club, Sindhuli 2-1 in the opening match.

Hardik Bhandari (31') and Suman Tamang (47') scored apiece for the winners. Kamal Gurung scored one for the losing side.

In the second match, Dhadhing Samaj, Dhanging played 2-2 draw against Tiger Team Dolakha.

Sambujan Shrestha and Santa Bahadur Tamang scored apiece for Dolakha while Bipin Kandel scored both goals for Dadhing.

ANFA Bagmati province football association is organizing the league, which has a winning purse of NRs 5 lakh.
