Balkan will face finals debutants Erchim FC of Mongolia while the other teams in Group A are Nepal’s league champions and 2005 semi-finalists Three Star Club.
Dordoi face KRL Football Club of Pakistan who are appearing for the third time in the competition.
AlQuds Hilal of Palestine, looking to emulate the feat achieved by fellow Palestine club Shabab Al Am’ari who were the beaten finalists in the 2012 edition of the tournament, are the other side to join Balkan and KRL Football Club in Group B.
The AFC President’s Cup is an opportunity for league champions clubs of third-tier Member Associations to get involved in a continental challenge.
The finals will start on September 23 with Three Star Club taking on Balkan and KRL facing Dordoi with the group winners meeting in the final on September 29.
