All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has changed the league structure again but has increased the prize money to almost double for the new league season this year.
ANFA has scrapped National league concept and has brought the same old Kathmandu based A Division league.
The A Division league Champions, after Super league, will get Rs 75 Lakhs. (Earlier it was Rs 40 Lakhs).
** The ticket price of the league matches is Rs 200 & Rs 100.
** There will be two matches every day. Total 120 matches will be played. Each team will play 15 matches.
** The total budget of the tournament is Rs 2 Crore 65 Lakhs
** The team will get Rs 3 Lakhs each as the preparation money.
** Top Eight teams will be selected for Super league.
** Gorkha Brewery Limited provides Rs 1 Crore To ANFA as the main sponsor.
** The winning team will receive Rs 75 Lakhs. The second placed team will get Rs 35 Lakhs. Third placed team will get Rs 15 Lakhs, Fourth placed team will get Rs 7 Lakhs, Fifth placed team will get Rs 1 Lakhs 50 Thousand, Sixth placed team will get Rs 1 Lakhs 50 Thousand, Seventh placed and eight placed team will get Rs 1 lakh each. The fair play team will get Rs 1 Lakh.
** The super League Champions will get a chance to play in AFC Presidents Cup qualifiers 2013. Head-To-Head system will be applied. Three Yellow cards is equal to one match suspension. Five yellow cards or two red cards in a match for any team will be liable to pay Rs 10,000 as a fine.
** Seventh & Eight placed team in the first round should have a point difference of 21 to the first placed team. If the points is higher than 21, the teams cant go to super league. Participation fee for all Club is Rs 10,000. If any team abandon the match during the play, ANFA will demote the club and slap a fine of Rs 3 Lakhs.
