British Gurkha Cup is starting from 14th of April at Dasrath Stadium. 16 A Division Clubs are participating in the knock out tournament which has a cash purse of Rs 10 Lakhs.

Mega Three Star Club is the defending Champions of the tournament.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has offered Rs 1.9m in total as prize money in British Gurkha Cup football tournament.     

The title winning team will receive Rs 1m. The runners team will get Rs 5 Lakhs. Both semifinalists will get Rs 1 Lakh each.

The best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker and coach will get Rs 50,000 each. The best player of the tournament will get one Motorbike.

The estimated budget of the tournament is Rs 4.9m. The main sponsors, British Gurkha Group has provided Rs 2m.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has decided to provide Rs 50,000 each to all the participating teams of British Gurkha Cup as preparation money.

ANFA will also share the gate money collection (90%) with the Clubs. The 10% from the collection will go to Players Welfare fund.

ANFA informed that defending Champions, Mega Three Star Club and runners up LH MMC were given top seed while other teams were grouped through lucky draw.
