A 23-member Nepal National Team has been selected from 30-member preliminary squad for upcoming AFC Solidarity Cup 2016 scheduled on November 2-15 in Kuching Malaysia.
Goalie Alan Neupane; defenders, Man Bahadur Tamang, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Jitendra Karki; and midfielder Sunil Bal couldn't make it to the final cut.
Army man, Deepak Gurung has made the final cut for the first time.
Prakash Budathoki and Bikash Tamang couldn't continue training due to injuries.
The squad comprises of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and six forwards.

Nepal has been grouped with Timor Leste and Brunei in group A. Sri Lanka, Macau, Mongolia and Laos are pitted in group B.
Gorkhalis will open the campaign taking on Timor Leste on November 5 and will meet Brunei on November 8 in their last group match.
