Southcole FC defeated hosts Anushasit Boys Club 4-2 on penalties to lift the title of 2nd Anushasit Boys Club Cup football tournament played at Pipaldanda, Balaju on Tuesday.
The match was forced to spot kick battle after both teams locked horns at 1-1 draw in regulation time.
The winning team received Rs 20,000. The runners up team, ABC got Rs 15,000.
The best player of the tournament award went to Sunil Basnet of Anushasit Boys Club. Basnet received Rs 2,000.
Sudip Giri was declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Fait Play award went to Siddartha Vanasthali Institute. Santosh Gurung of South Cole was declared the highest goal scorer award with Rs 3000.
Nepal National team goalie, Bikash Malla and Coach Diken Suwal distributed the prizes to the winners and runners up team.
