Armed Police Force (APC) coach, Janak Singh Tharu blamed his own goalie, Samit Rajbhandari and the referee of the match for the loss to Laxmi Hyundai MMC in quarterfinals match of Ncell Cup on Sunday.
Spirited APF put LH MMC under pressure in several occasions but faced a bitter defeat in the second half of extra added time when its goalie, Samit Rajbhandari made a blunder that saw striker Anil grabbed the ball and scored the winner.
"Referee of the match and our own goalie cost us dear", coach Singh told reporters in post match conference.
"We should have been 1-0 up but referee didn't allow the free kick goal when MMC's goalie had caught the ball in", coach Singh said, "Poor judgement of referees is the main reason of our loss".
Coach Singh also said that his goalie, Samit Rajbhandari feared against LH MMC.
"May be he (Rajbhandari) was frightened to face MMC", coach Singh added, "That was silly mistake and we conceded a goal".
Coach Singh was also frustrated with his front liners, mainly with Ganesh Lawati.
"Lawati couldn't score the goal in one-on-one situation", Singh added, "It feels sad to bow out from the championship despite playing good game".
