Chandra Bahadur Gurung and Hari Shrestha donated Rs 3 Lakhs each as Sahara Club received a donation of Rs 8,13,280 for its Sahara football academy that is being built at Dobilla, Pokhara.

Sahara FC UK official and coordinator of fund raising, Dilip Gurung handed over the donated amount to the club president Bikram Thakali on Sunday morning.

Khum Bahadur Gurung donated Rs 1 Lakh, Krishnadev & Tika Shree Gurung donated Rs 50,000, Tej Bahadur Gurung & Anju Gurung donated Rs 50,000, Dipak Neupane donated Rs 50,000 and Swotantra Rajbhandari donated Rs 13,280 to the club. 

Sahara Club president Bikram Thakali thanked all well wishers for their generous help.

"We have utilized every single penny that we have received from our donors", president Bikram Thakali said, "We feel proud to get continuous support from our well wishers".

Sahara FC UK official and fund raising coordinator, Dilip Gurung also thanked the donors for their help.

"We are working for a noble cause and it feels great to receive support from well wishers", Gurung added.

Sahara Club is building a football academy with proper football ground and mini parapet at Dobilla, Pokhara.

In the meantime, Dilip Gurung also handed over the trophies for man of the match of the forth coming 11th Aaha! RARA Gold Cup football tournament.
