Three Star Club coach, Megraj KC has resigned from the post on moral grounds after failing to produce good results with the team in on-going Ncell Cup football tournament.
Three Star Club played 1-1 draw against newbie Iceberg Madhyapur Youth Association in the first tie and lost the match to NIBL Friends Club 0-1 on Saturday at Dasrath Stadium.
Speaking with the press after the match, coach KC said that he was resigning from the post on moral grounds.
"I am resigning from the post. I feel I couldn't carry out my responsibilities", KC said, "I am leaving the post on moral grounds".
Coach KC said that his team couldn't play as a team against NIBL FC.
"Boys couldn't play as a team. Players didn't give their hundred percent. We should have come back into the game within 90 minutes", Coach KC said.
"I feel honored to lead the team for two years", KC added, "Two year coaching for Three Star is memorable for me".
However, the club management is yet to publish its official statement regarding KC's resignation.
