All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Ganesh Thapa believes that the qualified coaches should take risk in handling the team at any circumstances.
Speaking in the closing ceremony of AFC C License Course that concluded at ANFA Complex, Satdobato on Friday, Prez Thapa said that coaches should have guts to handle the team.
"Coaches should be bold and should take stance on his decision. I can see many coaches here in Nepal who make big promises and go for the tournament. Later, when the results won't favor the team, they blame for lack of training. The coaches should not handle the team if he is not convinced. The qualified coach should take a risk of handling the team at any circumstances".
Thapa added that former Nepal coach Padam Krishna Shrestha was a good example of "qualified" coach.
"I respect him a lot. He was one of the most qualified coaches in Nepal", Thapa added.
Thapa encouraged new coaches by saying that the the coaches now in Nepal can earn more and they can live up their life.
"We can see coaches getting Rs 50,000 per month", Thapa said, "This is very encouraging. I would like to send my good luck to all of you. You can happily build your career as a coach".
28 young coaches took part in the course.
