The Old Capital and Shakti High School secured their places in semifinals after registering respective victories in Gorkha District wide U-14 football tournament.

The Old Capital hammered Himalayan Ma VI 6-1. Bishal Gurung and Ibash Dhakal scored twice each while Neermal Thapa, Samundra Khatri scored apiece for the winning side.

Chandradhoj Thapa scored a consolation goal for Himalayan School.

In second quarterfinal match played at Dalbhanjyang, Shakti High School defeated Tara Ma Vi 5-4 on penalties.

The match was forced to spot kick battle after both teams played 4-4 in regulation time.

Saraswoti Ma Vi will take on Annapurna boarding @ 2:30 pm and Sidhasthanio Ma Vi will take on Rastriya lower secondary school @ 4:00 pm to secure their places in the semifinals.
