GoalNepal.com - England: Sahara FC UK Continues Winning Spree In Hampshire League

Sahara UK FC  maintained their 100% start to the season with a comfortable victory against a tenacious Frimley Wanderers side. Goals in either side of the half by Raygon Gurung, and neat finishes by Bahar Laksamba and Lok Bandhu Gurung ensured Sahara Uk earned maximum points and continued their good start with a victory.

A strong support for Sahara was visible and the players did a good job to ensure that the supporters had something to cheer about. Sahara had fielded a much stronger side this weekend as some of their key players were now available after completing their registrations in time. With a very new look side and plenty of skills in midfield with a quartet of Nawal Gurung, Lok Bandhu, Raygon Gurung and Bahar Laksamba meant that Sahara dominated possession in the middle of the park.

This was soon paid off and Sahara scored the opening soon after, when Lok Bandhu finished off a low shot from outside the box placing it in the bottom corner. The game opened up subsequently and as gaps started appearing at the back, Sahara exploited space with Raygon Gurung applying a thunderous left footed shot from just inside the box to make it 2-0 inside the first 25 minutes, and this is how the scored remained until half time.

To try to avoid the repeat of last week of letting the team back into the game, Sahara continued to dominate in the second half looking for the third goal and Bahar Laksamba provided that within the first 10 minutes in the second half. This gave the team a much needed breathing space and also an opportunity to give the youngsters a chance. Samuel Gurung, Anmol Rai and Ashsish Gurung came in and continued with the good passing game.

Some poor defensive work in the 65th minute gave  a shimmer of hope to Frimley, when they pulled a goal back. However, Raygon Gurung ensured Sahara went away with all 3 points when he doubled his tally with another neat finish from outside the box. A late penalty was saved by Santosh Tiwari , as Frimley rued their chance to go away with presentable score. The game finished 4-1 to Sahara, who now have 6 points out of 6. It was a really disciplined display by the defense and Sahara were deserved winners.

Sahara Uk today, also welcomed into it's team Physiotherapist Manisha Limbu, who was appointed late this week. Manisha is a graduate from East Anglia University and brings with her a dedicated and hard working ethic, which will help the players maintain peak fitness and quick rehabilitation after injuries. On joining Sahara she said,
"I am thrilled to be part of such a vivacious and passionate team and look forward to working with them. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate like me to pursue as it provides with a strong learning and dynamic environment.

Sahara are back at home( king George Playing Fields) next Sunday against Selbourne FC , for a 1030 Hrs Kick off. The team hopes to continue playing with the same energy and style.
