Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Force (APF), Prem Kumar Shrestha handed over Rs 5,000 to the best player of Nepal's match against Pakistan, Jamuna Gurung amid a program at FFSL Hostel in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Shrestha, along with head coach Kishor KC and coach Kumar Katuwal jointly handed over the money to the player.
"I am very happy to see all (players) working hard for SAFF Women's Championship. Rs 5,000 is nothing for your hard work. This is my personal gift to the best player".
Head Coach Kishor KC and coach Kumar Katuwal adjudged four goals heroine Jamuna Gurung the best player of the match.
DSP shrestha had announced that he would award Rs 5,000 to the best player in every league match and would award Rs 10,000 to the best player in semifinals and Rs 15,000 to the best player in the final.
