Nepal National Women's Team has reached Colombo Tuesday evening to take part in 2nd SAFF Women's Championship which is slated to kick off from September 7.
Nepal National team stayed at New Delhi for one hour on transit before boarding on Sri Lankan Airlines to Colombo.
But, on the way to Colombo, Nepalese team and other passengers survived a deadly turbulence of the plane that scared everyone.
Some passengers felt down from the seat and some screamed but Pilot managed to make plane still giving much relief to the air birds.
"I can't explain the situation. It was horrible. At a time, I thought we were gone. The plane would crash and we would all die", National team coach Kishor KC told GoalNepal.com.
"Thank god we are safe", team leader Ms Shivani Thapa said, "It was a dreadful experience. I have never experience this kind of situation".
The flight attended Dilan informed GoalNepal.com that the turbulence was high because there was rough weather on the route.
"We are very sorry for the inconvenienced caused to Nepal National womens' team", Dilan told GoalNepal.com.
