Nepal National team skipper Sagar Thapa was a bit disappointed with the stalemate against India in Nehru Cup match played at JLN Stadium on Tuesday.
Nepal played their skin out to tame Indians completely in the first half but they were sluggish in the second half.
"We had a brilliant start. At a time I thought we were playing as per our game plan. We kept the ball possesion and attacked them relentlessly but sadly we couldn't score", said Thapa.
"We wanted to win India and create a history but we failed to do so", added Thapa.
Thapa also praised boys for their spirited performance.
"We should have performed same game in first two matches but we couldn't", Thapa added, 'We need to move on. Now we need to concentrate on Syria match".
Nepal will take on Syria in its last match on August 30 at 7:15 NST.
