ANFA President Ganesh Thapa is very thankful to former Nepal Head Coach Graham Paul Roberts for showing his love and support towards Nepalese football.
Speaking with GoalNepal.com after reading the news of Roberts expressing his support to Nepal National team although the team suffered heavy defeat at the hands of Cameroon, ANFA Prez said, " I saw the news of coach Graham Paul Roberts on GoalNepal.com where he has shown his love and support to Nepalese football.We respect his sentiments".
"We are so thankful to him for being so concerned to Nepalese football. We are really missing him."
"We will remember you forever", Thapa said to Roberts.
Roberts was the most loved former Nepalese football coach who guided Nepal to the semifinals of SAFF Championship for the first time after 18 year back in December 2011. Nepal also qualified to the second round of FIFA World Cup qualifiers for the first time in its history last year.
Tottenham legend and former Chelsea player, Roberts stayed in Nepal as the head coach for 14 months.
When asked him about the possibility of re-appointment of Roberts as the coach, Thapa didn't confirmed but he said that ANFA "might" work together with coach Roberts in future for the development of Nepalese football.
