Sunil Chhetri struck twice and Syed Rahim Nabi scored another as India defeated Maldives 3-0 in Nehru Cup football tournament played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, India on Saturday.

India collected six points from two matches and remains on the top of the standing.

Sunil Chhetri was declared man of the match for his two outstanding goals. He received USD 1,500. Chhetri was also declared man of the match in the previous match.

India will next meet Nepal on August 28.
