At a time when goalie Ritesh Thapa was heavily criticized for his awful performance against Maldives in Nepal's first Nehru match, Nepalese contingent has dealt with a blow as another goalkeeper, Kiran Chemjong is suffering from fever.

But team physio Dejib Thapa informed GoalNepal.com that Chemjong was feeling much better now and his fever is cooled down.

The team leader Lalit Krishna Shrestha, coaching staffs had met Chemjong and asked him to take complete rest.

"He is feeling much better now. We will again examine him tomorrow morning before finalizing the squad", Thapa said.

Nepal will take on Cameroon on August 26 in its second match.
