All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) held an annual ex-co meeting at ANFA Complex, satdobato on Thursday. ANFA President Ganesh Thapa read out the nineteen points after the meeting.
President Thapa told reporters that there would be double increment on Nepal National Men's Team players' salaries. Now, the players will get Rs.10,000 per month. Earlier, they used to get Rs. 5,000 per month.
Monthly salary for Nepal National Women's Team players will also be provided from this year. The players will receive Rs.5,000 per month.
ANFA will award a football personality of Nepal with Sarad Shah Memorial Award every year with cash prize of Rs.500000 on the death anniversary of former member secretary of NSC late Sarad Chandra Shah to remember his contribution in Nepalese Football.
The football governing body has also made double increment on the salary of FIFA referees and assistant referee. They will receive Rs.4,000 per month from this year.
ANFA will provide Rs.50,000 to its district football associations from this year to carry out footballing activities in districts. Earlier, the district football associations used to get Rs.25,000.
The FA is aiming to build a mini stadium soon in Kathmandu with the saved amount Rs.8,00,00,000 collected from organizing different tournaments and the rest from donations from Nepalese government, FIFA, AFC and other national and international organizations.
ANFA has decided to send a technical team to Butwal and Dharan, where the ANFA technical centre is being constructed with the help of FIFA. to complete the construction as soon as possible.
Under fourth Goal project,ANFA has decided to construct football ground and fence the ground in 10 hilly districts, Illam, Dhankuta, Panchthar, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Kavre, Palpa, Syangja,Baglung and Lamjung. The football governing body has already prepared the estimate for the project. FIFA will sanction the budget in the meeting held in September 2012. ANFA will receive 5,00,000 USD and each district will get 50,000 USD and some amount will be provided from internal sources to start the project.
ANFA has decided to organize district league and regional league in districts and regional level to develop and motivate players outside the valley. ANFA has come to this conclusion of district league and national league as it feels that the national league, which was held in different three level, was not that effective and satisfactory.
ANFA has made a historic contract with Ncell Pvt. Ltd. and the football governing body will organize different tournaments among them Ncell U-16 Football Tournament is one of them. Ten teams from each 45 member football associations will take part in the championship. The winner from each district will get an opportunity to take part in the final round.
ANFA is constructing first artificial turf in ANFA Complex ground with the help of FIFA. ANFA will get 5,00,000 USD from FIFA to complete the construction of the turf. ANFA believes that the turf will help in the regular training of National Youth Teams and national senior Teams. The turf is expected to last for ten years.
Under 2nd GOAL project, ANFA added two-storey to the ANFA hostel with necessary facilities where the participating teams of AFC U-14 Football Festival were kept and the football governing body is helding closed camp for Nepal national Women's Team for 2nd SAFF Women's Championship and aims to hold similar closed camps in future.
ANFA has made a policy for 45 district football associations to train youth players of 13-16 years in districts to decentralize the game. ANFA aims to produce atleast a Nepal national player from a distrcit FA. ANFA has increased Rs.2000 in the salary of district coaches. Earlier, they used to get Rs.3,000.
ANFA has decided to provide Rs.5,00,000 each to the bereaved families of late Ranjan Thapa and Late Sagar Pariyar who died in a bus accident.
ANFA has started closing camp for Nepal National Women's Team for 2nd SAFF Women's Championship scheduled on September 7-17 with the target of winning the title. The team was the runners-up in the previous edition.
ANFA has scheduled its ex-co meeting on Poush 3, 2069.
ANFA has successfully completed its one-third programs of annual schedule/calendar and it aims to complete remaining two-third events with the help of all.
