India national football team played a friendly match against AIFF's developmental side Palian Arrows on Saturday which ended at 0-0.

India are training at Jaypee Greens for the forthcoming Nehru cup football tournament that starts from August 22 at JLN Stadium New Delhi. India will take on Syria in the opening match.

Meanwhile, Sporting Lisbon striker, Sunil Chhetri said that the mood in the camp was perfect.

Speaking with AIFF mouthpiece, Chhetri said, "We are really working hard to do what the coach wants us to do. It is a new system and it will take time. But we are moving in the right direction.”

Chhetri who plays for Sporting Lisbon informed the Portuguese stint is helping him mature more.

“There are players from all over Europe in the squad and also from Africa. I am the eldest member in the squad and hence, the responsibility stays higher.”

Nepal will take on India on August 28 at JLN Stadium.
