All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has recently started the work to expand the pitch at ANFA Complex for  astro turf that is going to be laid down on September.

ANFA has started to demolish the parapet for the required width for the pitch.

FIFA sanctioned special budget to Nepal for astro turf after Sepp Blatter's visit to Nepal in March.

A week before, Astro turf consultant from FIFA visited All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) complex to check the facilities at the complex before laying down astro turf.
     
Astro Turf Consultant Mr. Ole Myhrvold / FIFA Development Office, New Delhi  and FIFA Assistant Development Officer  Chrysantha Perera had visited the complex. The consultant team checked the nature of the soil, drainage system and the size of the ground.

The astro turf work will start from September and will be completed three months later.
