Yeti FC, a Nepalese football club based in Australia, has donated Rs 13,000 to cancer suffering player Kumar Lama.
The Club president Raj Sharma and coach Kalu Tamu initiated the campaign to collect the fund for Lama.
Earlier, Yeti FC and former Machhindra FC & Nepal Police Club player Arjun Rijal had donated Rs 5000.
A Division Club Boudha FC player Kumar Lama is suffering from bone (Femur) cancer. Rs 36,001 has been collected so far for ailing Lama .
GoalNepal.com announced Rs 5,000, Navin Gurung announced Rs 5000, Arjun Rijal Rs 5000, Narendra Lama announced Rs.5001 and Kumar Puri announced Rs 3000.
Lama played past league donning jersey of Boudha FC.
Lama has already completed first stage of his treatment and he is right back from India after completing operation of his Femur (Thigh bone) where the cancer is developed.
Lama's family has already spent more than seven lakhs rupees for the treatment (including chemotherapy) - money mainly collected on loan. Boudha FC and some local people supported Lama financially for the first operation.

It is learned that Lama still needs some lakhs rupees to undergo second operation after some months.
