Star striker Bharat Khawas missed Nepal National team training session Monday to appear in GTO exam for the post of Second Lieutenant.
The examination was held at Nepal Army Training Centre, Kharibot, Bhaktapur.
Khawas recently passed the examination of Nepal Army Second Lieutenant post conducted by Public Service Commission.
Nepal National team coach Krishna Thapa said that Khawas had informed him about his examination.
"Bharat informed me about his exam yesterday. He asked me for a day leave. He will continue full fledged training with the team from tomorrow.", coach Thapa said.
Nepal National Team started training from Sunday at Chyasal football ground for Nehru Cup which is scheduled on August 22-September 2 at New Delhi, India.
Nepal National team will open its campaign against Maldives on August 23.
