Nepal National U-22 and LH MMC goalie Bishal Shrestha underwent successful surgery of his left wrist  at Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital on Sunday.

Shrestha's chronic-fractured-wrist was operated by senior Ortho Surgeon Dr Govinda KC.

"I am feeling better now", Shrestha said, "The doctor has suggested me to take rest for three months and proper physiotherapy of the wrist before coming to the pitch".

Meanwhile, GoalNepal.com and the LH MMC officials visited TUTH to meet Bishal Shrestha.

LH MMC officials have also promised to bear the expenses of the medical treatment.

Speaking with GoalNepal.com, club secretary and lawyer Kumar Bhattarai said, "The Club has already discussed about covering medical expenses of Shrestha. Our board meeting will pass the decision shortly".
